Wally’s Lake is over 1.5 acres and is situated in a wooded valley and is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the area.
The lake is approached through the riding stables and by following the track down the hill.
On arriving there are a variety of swims, the south side providing the deeper part of the lake whilst the island end providing shallower water ideal for surface fishing.
The lake provides coarse angling for all levels. Whether it’s your first time fishing for Roach or you are a keen carper looking for your first 20 lb fish. Naturally stocked with specimen Carp to nearly 30 lb, specimen Bream over 13 lb, Roach and Skimmer Bream.
When fishing for Carp a 36” landing net and unhooking mat are required and we would suggest a minimum of 12 lb line. Best baits have proven to be tiger nut boillies and halibut pellets for the Carp, sweetcorn and worm for the Bream and sweetcorn and maggots for the Roach and Skimmers.
